Indigestion

Indigestion and Heartburn are different although there are some similarities, and thus some confusion. Heartburn is more of a burning feeling in the chest caused by stomach acid, whilst indigestion is a general term for discomfort in the upper tummy area, while

People with Indigestion (also know as dyspepsia) often burp a lot. They may feel full up very quickly or feel a burning pain after eating. Indigestion is usually a symptom of other digestion problems. It is not really considered a disease in itself.

Symptoms:

  • Pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen.
  • Feeling full or bloated soon after eating.
  • Acidic taste, nausea, or excessive belching.
  • Burning sensation (similar to heartburn).
